A bit about me.

My interest in the History of the Curragh began at a very early age. Originally from Darndale, Dublin, my family and I moved to the Camp in 1979 when I was only 4 years old. My father was a member of the Military Police and the move was the result of my father's transfer to the Military Detention Barracks.

I lived in Clarke for a year before moving to O'Higgins Terrace where I remained for a further 6 years. In 1986 my family and I made a final move to Brownstown which is situated on the edge of the scenic Curragh Plains and sits just a stones throw from the Military Camp.

In 2008 I graduated from Portlaoise College with a qualification in Web Design and I immediately began working on this website.

In 2016 I moved to Tallaght, Dublin.

Today I continue to hold a huge interest in The Curragh and it's long history.
